The Nanango Show Society is proud to present the 102nd Show on the 8th & 9th April 2011.
The show is preceded with the judging of the Wine Section, Rural Ambassador & Miss ShowGirl. This year the Show Ball evening is on 27th March at the Nanango Cultural Centre. Last years Miss Showgirl was Amy Trace and the Rural Ambassador was Adrian Neilson. Our Miss Showgirl won the Miss Popularity contest for Queensland, congratulation Amy!.
The Show has many sections to interest all ages and competitors no matter what your tastes are.
The show kicks off on Friday with various judging and continues all day Saturday. Check back closer to April and we will post a schedule of the days events.
Some of our features include Woodchop, Treefelling Championship, Twilight Rodeo, Ute Muster,Prime Cattle, Alpacas,Miniature Goats,Boer Goats, Championship Dog Show, Dairy Goats, Stud Beef Cattle, Show Jumping, Pavilion Displays, Sideshows, Fireworks, Chainsaw Events, Animal Nursery, Vintage Machinery Display, Horse Ring Events, Horticulture, Farm & Garden, School Displays, Trade Displays, Dairy Cattle, Wine Show, Junior Judging Competitions, Young Handlers Competition, Live Music & Night Entertainment, Culinary, Grand Parade & Official Opening, Food Stalls, Bar & Barbecue, Miss Showgirl & Rural Ambassador, Long Stem Rose Competition, Poultry, Caged Birds, Pidgeons and plenty more.

We have four (4) show books - horses, cattle, pavillion and what we refer to as the Livestock book, which covers everything thing else. Remember - it's not about winning, just entering is fun in itself.

The attention of intending exhibitors is drawn to the fact that entries are accepted subject to the Rules of the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies and to the Constitution and Rules of this Society in addition to any Special Regulations which appear within this schedule.
